Roger Dubuis Hommage H37 57 5 - Time only

Introducing a very rare and attractive Roger Dubuis Hommage H37.

This Roger Dubuis Hommage H37 is not something you see everyday. This watch was made by Roger Dubuis himself, before Roger Dubuis became a Richemont owned brand name in 2008. It is one of only 28 pieces and it was manufactured by the watchmaker between 1996 and 1998.

The pink gold case is very distinct with its polished, concave bezel and brushed lugs. The body structure gives the watch a larger impression on the wrist than the 37 mm case would normally do. 

The dial is white enamel with gold polished Breguet numerals. An outer black printed minute and second tracker contrasts well against the white texture along with the gold arrow-head hands.

On the back, an open caseback to admire the Roger Dubuis automatic movement, Cal. RD57, based upon Lemania 8815. Each pieces was delivered with an extra closed caseback that has all the numbers engraved of the watch on the inside. (See pictures) 

The one presented here was found somewhere in Spain and is in absolute mint condition. Delivered with the matching number closed caseback and its box. Along with the watch comes the original store tag (Presmanes) and the original price tag in Spanish Pesetas (1260.000 ESP). Unfortunately, over the years, the papers were misplaced. 

And to top it off, the original (used) Roger Dubuis strap is accompanied by the original lead BPG Geneva seal hang tag. 

Only 28 pieces of this series were manufactured but it is believed that not all 28 pieces were manufactured due to the low demand back then.
