Introducing the Roger Dubuis Hommage H40 57 Time only

This Roger Dubuis Hommage H40 is not something you see everyday. This watch was made by Roger Dubuis himself, before Roger Dubuis became a Richemont owned brand name in 2008. It is one of only 28 pieces and it was manufactured by the watchmaker between 1996 and 1998.

The pink gold case is very distinct with its polished, concave bezel and brushed lugs. The body structure gives the watch a balanced impression and just first perfectly on the wrist.  

The dial is black applied with gold polished Breguet numerals. An outer gold printed minute and second tracker contrasts well against the black texture along with the gold leaf hands.

On the back, an open caseback to admire the Roger Dubuis automatic movement, Cal. RD57, based upon Lemania 8810.

The condition of the watch is absolute mint considering its age. Along with the watch comes the original Roger Dubuis-signed, pink gold buckle and its original box.

The H37 with the 37mm case we've sold previously (here) has been seen before in different dial variations, all limited to 28 pieces. The H40 "Time only" version is one the rarest version we've seen before, we've only seen one similar version in white gold with the 40mm case in an auction many years ago.
